Consultation requests are accepted by email. Email Alex to ask about current availability. Online appointment scheduling is not available yet.
What is a consultation for?
A consultation is a chance to discuss what you are looking for, ask about the service and qualifications, and consider fit before deciding whether to begin. The consultation format and any cost can be clarified by email.
What are the fees and session lengths?
Fees and session lengths have not yet been published. These details will be available before appointments can be booked.
Will sessions be online or in person?
AOC is being developed in Calgary, Alberta. Confirmed online and in-person arrangements, including any office location, will be shared before booking opens.
Can I use extended health benefits?
Coverage depends on your plan and the provider credentials it accepts. AOC has not confirmed insurance eligibility. Verify both the provider designation and your plan requirements before relying on reimbursement.
Do I need a diagnosis or a clear goal?
You can begin by describing what has been difficult or what you hope could change. Service eligibility and suitability will be discussed before starting.
How will privacy and confidentiality work?
Privacy practices, record handling, and limits of confidentiality will be explained before counselling begins. This site currently has no intake form and does not collect your clinical information.
What if I need support now?
This website is not monitored for urgent requests. Visit Alberta addiction and mental health services for current support options. For immediate danger or a medical emergency, call 911.
